When could have harald have seen shanks/shamrock's face before? There's now way it was just a random encounter right? Could it have been a different relative? I mean if harald’s spend the last 20 years on the sea doing anti-pirate operations, maybe he ran into him either solo or as a kid with the roger pirates. Hell, he probably had his own bounty poster as roger’s cabin boy. I think harald probably met shanks at the tavern before because after that scene it cut to ida saying how she feels like she's helped harald a little by keeping her tavern open to sailors. This took me a second to think about. They said he was on the surface world but apparently didn't know he was on roger's ship. I thought they would have obviously known. But it's like how blackbeard was hidden under whitebeard. The doylist perspective though; oda wants me to believe that any member of the roger pirates was completely overlooked by the government's intel? It's hard to suspend disbelief for that.
