The Legend of Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks D. Xebec is more myth than man. Decades before the Great Pirate Era began, he ruled the seas with a ruthless ideology: to overthrow the world itself. His ambition wasn’t wealth or fame it was domination.
At God Valley, Xebec’s reign ended when Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp joined forces to defeat him a partnership that shocked the world.
Yet, despite his defeat, Xebec’s name lingered in whispers. His connection to the “Will of D.”, his crew of future Emperors, and his terrifying might made him the embodiment of chaos itself.
Chapter 1163 A Game-Changing Revelation
In Chapter 1163, Oda ties together years of foreshadowing. The chapter shows flashbacks of the God Valley incident alongside shocking scenes involving Imu, revealing that Rocks may have had powers connected to the mysterious “Domi Reversi.”
Oda has finally confirmed what fans suspected Rocks’ strongest attack wasn’t just brute force, but reality manipulation itself.

Rocks D. Xebec’s Strongest Attack Revealed
The chapter reveals that Rocks’ ultimate move, called “Domi Reversi”, could invert any form of energy or intent turning allies into enemies, attacks into healing, and destruction into creation.
Imagine Whitebeard’s quake powers turned inside out that’s the kind of terrifying strength Rocks wielded.
The “Domi Reversi” Explained
“Domi Reversi” is derived from “Dominium Reversus,” meaning “Reversal of Dominion”. It represents Rocks’ twisted dream: to flip the world’s hierarchy upside down, overthrowing the Celestial Dragons and ruling from the ashes.
This ability makes him not only physically unstoppable but also a symbolic mirror of the “Will of D.” a will that challenges the gods themselves.
The Power Scale — Where Does Rocks Stand Now?
Now that we’ve seen Oda’s confirmation, fans are re-evaluating the power hierarchy.
If Roger and Whitebeard were legends, Rocks was the monster they feared. Even Kaido, the so-called “Strongest Creature,” admitted Rocks’ might exceeded his own.
By introducing “Domi Reversi,” Oda has arguably crowned Rocks as the most dangerous pirate in One Piece history.
Oda’s Foreshadowing Through the Series
Oda had been teasing Rocks’ power since the Marineford Arc, when Sengoku spoke of a man who aimed to destroy the world. Hints appeared in Big Mom’s flashbacks, Kaido’s memories, and even Blackbeard’s ideology.
Each clue painted a picture a man whose will refused to die. Oda’s subtle storytelling finally pays off here.
The Impact on the Current Storyline
This revelation isn’t just history it’s prophecy. The “Domi Reversi” mirrors the balance between Luffy’s freedom and Imu’s tyranny. It suggests that the final battle may be about reversing the world’s fate once more.
Could Luffy inherit Xebec’s power, or will Blackbeard claim it first? Either way, the world government trembles for good reason.
The Return of the Rocks Pirates
If Chapter 1163 taught us anything, it’s that legends never die.
Rocks’ crew Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido all became Emperors. But now, whispers of a new Rocks generation arise led by Blackbeard, possibly the reincarnation of Xebec’s will.
History is repeating itself, and Oda is making sure we notice.
Fan Reactions and Theories
Fans exploded across Reddit and Twitter with theories. Some believe “Domi Reversi” is tied to a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit connected to duality creation and destruction. Others think it’s a unique Haki technique passed only among the “D.” lineage.
Whatever the truth, one thing’s clear Oda has reignited the One Piece community’s obsession with Rocks D. Xebec.
The Connection Between Rocks and the D. Clan
Every member of the D. Clan opposes oppression, but Xebec took it to the extreme.
While Luffy fights for freedom, Rocks fought for dominion through reversal two sides of the same coin. That contrast deepens the mystery of the D. Clan’s purpose.
Could Xebec’s “reversal” ideology represent the D. Clan’s ancient role in toppling the first World Government?
Is Xebec the True Antagonist of One Piece?
Some fans now believe that Xebec’s will not Imu’s may be the final enemy Luffy must face. Perhaps his consciousness was preserved, influencing the modern world through the shadows.
If “Domi Reversi” can rewrite fate, then maybe Rocks’ spirit is still at play, manipulating events behind the scenes.
Oda’s Genius Writing and Long-Term Planning
Oda’s storytelling mastery lies in his patience. He planted seeds decades ago and let them grow until this exact moment. The reveal of Rocks’ attack in Chapter 1163 isn’t random it’s a narrative crescendo that connects every era of piracy.
This is why One Piece remains unmatched in storytelling every legend, every whisper, every clue finally matters.
What’s Next for One Piece?
Chapter 1164 will likely explore the aftermath of the Domi Reversi reveal. Fans anticipate Imu’s counterattack, Luffy’s awakening parallels, and maybe just maybe a flashback showing Rocks’ final battle in full.
If this is the beginning of the end, Oda is ensuring it starts with a bang.
Conclusion
Rocks D. Xebec’s strongest attack, “Domi Reversi,” isn’t just a show of power it’s a metaphor for the entire series.
It’s about turning the world upside down, challenging destiny, and forcing even the gods to kneel. Chapter 1163 proves that Oda still holds cards no one else sees, and Rocks D. Xebec may just be the key to everything.

Would be nice if the 3 person team up is a bit of a hint to monster trio. Rocks and Whitebeard powers already active. Luffy and Zoro unlocking CoC and ACoC, Sanji the Kaido one (both kind of soldiers, though Sanji did not end up one) where Kaido was there without his current powers he has but now is the Kaido of the current timeline. An eventual Sanji Coc and ACoC awakening, given that we may be got Cliff hangered there right before the story.
ReplyDeleteWould be interesting if Roger later joined the fight by the way but maybe was too far away.
The other interesting thing would be if somehow Luffy Devil Fruit is in fact the legendary devil fruit. Would make sense with Shanks stealing it. And Harald size and strength wise being able to make better use of it than Rocks. The Harold situation seems like the if captured kill self. And then this is the whole Harald ruined plan. Then basically Shanks purpose was getting the Gum Gum fruit, and he actually had to steal it back. But there seems to be more to the store within a year with how it ended up with who's who.
On the other side it could be in fact the devil fruit Shamrock has, wasted on a weapon. When you link Shanks tona destined child.
It will probably lead to Luffy's fruit being the legendary devil fruit, but would be interesting if it is a different devil fruit. Hopefully not Blackbeard's devil fruit. Hopefully something new.
Would be something if the fight became Imu vs Blackbeard, Shanks and Luffy. Even so I do wonder what the Devil fruit will be said to be. Seems nearing that point. As I guess once the Rocks battle is over it gets to news of Harold, Loki reaction to it, Harold actions from it then day of the incident.
Ill try to be as honest , as i can,, if we are talking about facing IMU ITSELF,,except for Luffy i CANT SEE ANYONE ELSE..BEING able to fight him directly other than Luffy,, not even zoro,,, of course chars like usopp, nami,, they are at this point ABSOLUTLY USELESS,,as it was show in Wano,, they got beat really badly... in a similar way Shanks is allowing extremely weak pirates to sail the new world thanks to his power,, Luffy, Zoro, And Sanji, are literally carriying away the rest of the crew at this point...i still have hopes one of the Keys to beat Imunko, it is Brook and the emotional damage he can provide,, triying to reach Gunko itself, deep buried inside imu´s control,, that could provide an opening for an attack in the same way she grab her chest when she kick Brooks.. hurting someone you love is always awful.
ReplyDeleteI feel like we are going to get the Blackbeard thinks everybody betrayed Rocks.
ReplyDeleteSeems all the people he went after are God Valley affiliated directly or indirectly.
Though he seems to have skipped Roger and Kaido.
Though he got Roger indirectly through Ace.
My guess is in fact Yamato will become a target when revealed child of Kaido, something he could learn through caribou. But may even just happen accidentally. Even Kuma, Ginny and possibly Saturn indirectly through Bonney. Especially if the Devil Fruits came from raiding God Valley.
Domi Reversi can only be used on someone who’s in their own homeland!?
ReplyDeleteSome fans believe that Imu’s Domi Reversi only works when the target is in their homeland. That’s why it worked on the Elbaph giants and the Davy clan in God Valley.
“Domi Reversi” in English means “I have returned home.” That meaning now feels painfully fitting and hits way too hard.

And thus the awaited Domi Reversed thing happened to our beloved Antihero…
ReplyDeleteRIP Rocks.. Being annihilated like that is truly devastating.. It explains how both Garp and Roger were necessary to defeat him… If Harald also got Reversed like his pal than fate was truly harsh to them…
Nevertheless, MY MAAAAN GARP PROTECTING HIS PRIDE AND ATTACKING THE FUC*** King of the World is something amazing!!! That wasnt on my bingo list!!
Imu tanking all of them beasts all together makes me wonder how the new generation is going to handle him on Elban… The mew generation upscale is skyrocketing!!
Wow this chapter is hypeee.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Harald learned what Imu did to Rocks and defied the world government n changed his stance so Imu had to kill him too.
I feel like once Luffy defeats Blackbeard in a fight. Blackbeard will help Luffy fight against Imu. There is only one true evil and that is Imu!!
Hmmm Garp still not out of the woods yet. However…..this lore drop is INSANELY wild. You telling me WB, Kaido, and Big mom.. all of them who have either fought or supported luffy has said absolutely nothing bout nothing?
ReplyDeleteLike I know some people would say.. well nvm because Ivankov ain’t mention anything neither. Idk man. I’m not liking that so many key players were there yet none of them ever spoke about it. Also I’m curious if they knew he was hit with Domi Reversal.. I hope so but knowing Oda, similar to Linlin eating mother caramel, they very well may never know. This is further by the fact Loki likely killed a Domi Reversal Harold (I bet Harold created an opening because there is no way Loki feats top the big 5 )
Either way….. I hate linlin for how she did A kid (Ivankov) however I’m so glad she came back as she’s one of my top 5 favorites in the whole manga. It’s show there is a reason Kaido, WB, and Big mom became Yonkos. I’m glad Oda showed us them fighting together.
However, another thing I didn’t like.. and I guess from a writer standpoint it’s needed… Kaido, Big mom and WB were all loyal to rocks. Yea they have their own agenda, however so does everybody on the Strawhats. It makes me like them a lot more because like I said before.. the only “True” evils in the world is the world govt. Big mom and Kaido for sure are “BAD” and I could argue Kaido could have inklings of “evil” in him.. however he’s not a cold blooded killer to innocent people imo.
Idk this chapter has opened up the possibilities to ALOT of ways this can go. Mainly with Shanks, Luffy, BB, and Buggy. Their fates are bound to cross together. Either way.. chapter didn’t even drop and it’s a 10/10 for me. But I may be bias since I love anything dealing with big mom and kaidos interactions together.
Okay, like I said last time. When I see something like this, it makes me think memory shenanigans are afoot, as miserable as that is. OR extreme compulsion/poisoned deal. But with how manchildish Imu seems to be, I think that if there were power shenanigans getting involved, I think it would be memory-based.
ReplyDeleteAnother thought I recently had has to do with the previous chapter. What if the person whom Sengoku said "disappeared" is the same person who "disappeared" from the Who's Who story? It's a bit of a wild thought, but I'd be down for it if there's this person in the background silently spreading the gospel of joyboy while adding suspiscion to the CD. If this person is also the one holding the last poneglyph, then even better.
Interesting, it seems even though Dragon essentially saved Shanks, probably neither of them, nor Garling actually fully understand this will all context. As far as Dragon knows, he just wanted to save some children and essentially failed. Shanks probably just knows that he was separated in the chaos of God valley and ended up with Roger Pirates, and Garling could probably know about the same, with addition of some random marine being involved.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I'd even prefer it to stay that lucky happenstance only known to readers.
I think it's for few reasons, Garp brings people to the Marines, and as the face of the Navy, it makes the world government look good. The world government paint the world government itself as the face of Justice, and strength.
ReplyDeleteWhile he hates the Celestial Dragons, like Dragon himself has said, the Navy is not the issue with the world government, it's the Celestial Dragons. End of the day, the Navy fight off Pirates who are evil.
Furthermore, if the world government are to separate themselves from someone like Garp who brings people to the Navy, it will make people question why potentially. It would be a huge loss.
And if the world government were to go after Garp, he wouldn't go without a fight most likely. Would people fight with him? Potentially, can't risk splitting the world government up in a civil issue.
Garp knowing his value knows that he can bring people into the world government who will end up becoming like Koby, it's always been his intentions to reform the world government from all the Magazines, and from what he's shown in the series especially with his infiltration of Pirate Island.
Pretty much, Garp not in the world government is a net loss. Double edged sword, but they're better with him in the world government than not, but I guess if they don't really think his goal to reform the world government will amount to much, then it's a complete win on their side. Garp seemingly believes his reform will change the world government, and it looks like we're heading towards that realization being a thing.
So the chapter was released.
ReplyDeleteKing of rats huh? Is that a metaphor that In is a king of scum that are basically rats like the Celestial dragons.
Or is Rocks taunting and calling Imu a coward for basically being “a dirty rat” that rather hides and do things sneaky?
Another minor thing. That talk worth Ganzui and Shiki, almost made it appear as if Shiki got angry at Ganzui and made me wonder could Shiki have killed him? I mean Shiki and Ganzui are scum, so I would not get it past Shiki to do so.
Does the fact that Imu asks Rocks if he is Davy Jones imply that he is alive? Maybe another immortal like Imu from back then that has been waiting for Nika to return or something. If so would be good for this character to be introduced soon to get the details on what needs to happen next in the main plot line.
ReplyDeleteWhile Garp is trying to spur a positive force in the Navy, this babying of him is hilarious. Garp doesn't actively go around consistently defending people from WG corruption and actively avoids the Admiral rank. Complaining about people who critique the fact that he stood by a genocidal government and actively improved their image by being a part of them is asinine. People being annoyed at Garp for insisting that Dragon, Ace and Luffy join the highly corrupted is valid, in fact, Garp being pissed that Dragon left after GV is quite frankly insane, and don't even get me started on Ace. Garp's relationship with the Government is complex, and Garp stans have been doing victory laps like GV erases all of the negative aspects of Garp's loyalty to the Marines.
ReplyDeleteJohn really got rocked by a booger bomb man. And the spoilers make Imu seem a tad more impressive than he actually was. Saturn's body is not regenerating, at least not quickly. The only part of it that recovered quickly was the Imu head section; the spoilers made it seem like all of him recovered fast.
