Since we saw his hands turn into claws in the last chapter, it’s almost guaranteed he ate the Mythical Zoan, Wolf-Wolf Fruit, Model: Fenrir. It fits the Norse mythology theme perfectly Fenrir is the wolf destined to be chained until Ragnarok, just like Loki has been bound in Elbaf. I think we’ll see that unlike King Harald, who was consumed by the fruit’s raw "wild" nature and went on a rampage, Loki’s Conqueror’s Haki allows him to dominate the devil fruit’s will instantly. That squirrel-hammer Ragnir will probably recognize him as the true master, maybe even fusing with his transformation to give him some kind of elemental lightning attacks. The emotional gut punch, though, is going to be the truth about King Harald. I predict that as Harald dies by Loki’s hand, he won’t be angry; he’ll be relieved. We’ll likely find out that the "madness" wasn't just the fruit, but maybe some external corruption or a curse from the World Government that Harald was fighting off. The chapter will probably end with a twist showing that Loki voluntarily accepted the title of the "Accursed Prince" and allowed himself to be chained by Shanks not because he was weak, but to protect his father's legacy as a benevolent king. He took the blame for the rampage so the giants would remember Harald as a hero rather than a monster, giving us a tragic "Itachi-style" backstory for him.

I'm really on the raīju fruit, because it's not clear what a raīju looks like. It could be a wolf, a felin, a tanuki, a kind reptilian beast, etc. It's almost anything, but always linked to thunder. After reading this chapter I’m having trouble seeing shanks vs. Loki. Like I’m starting to believe one of two things: Oda is trolling us, shanks and loki have some sort of agreement or understanding, maybe it’s related to the devil fruit he ate? And there might be some fighting but shanks v loki is basically an unserious fight with neither going all out. 
 
Or Loki is totally traumatized from killing his dad that the niddhog zoan maybe overpowers him shanks is some sort of haki god and with gaban’s help they are somehow able to stop an enraged legendary devil fruit wielding loki with the power of ragnir. One theory is that loki want to avenge harald by going to marijoa. He asked for shanks help but shanks know it’s not the time yet. Is basically how buggy mentioned shanks is stupid for not trying to get the one piece. That’s why loki mentioned shanks is a coward. I could see loki blaming harald's situation on shanks. Shanks left the holy land (like a "Coward") and thus harald was next in line for the deep sea contract. Sure it's what harald stupidly wanted, but loki is a traumatized dumb kid.
