šŸ”„ One Piece Chapter 1162 is almost here! The God Valley flashback has quickly become one of the most pivotal storylines in One Piece, offering long-awaited answers about the past while setting up emotional and action-packed moments that could reshape the series’ future. With Chapter 1162 on the horizon, fan speculation is at an all-time high. From tragic character fates to high-stakes confrontations and game-changing lore reveals, the next installment promises to be a major turning point in Eiichiro Oda’s epic saga. A major focus of upcoming events is expected to center on Saint Garling Figarland, the enigmatic leader of the God Knights. Since last appearing to rally his forces, Garling has been notably absent amid the ongoing chaos. Fans believe Chapter 1162 will finally reveal his next move possibly continuing his hunt for high-value targets or pursuing a more personal objective that could redefine his character and motives. His actions could also serve as a catalyst for several key plot developments still to come. One of the most anticipated moments involves Rocks D. Xebec and his long-lost wife, Aerys. Given how quickly Ifley was able to locate Shaki, it seems inevitable that Rocks will find Aerys in the heat of battle. However, their reunion may not lead to a happy ending. Many fan theories suggest that Aerys will not survive the God Valley conflict, with her death potentially serving as the emotional spark behind Rocks’ violent rampage. Such a moment could be among the flashback’s most heartbreaking scenes, potentially rivaling some of One Piece’s most memorable tragedies. Another prediction revolves around Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp, two figures whose legendary rivalry has shaped much of the series’ history. While canon confirms Roger’s involvement at God Valley, many theorists believe Garp will actively force Roger to stay and fight rather than leave the battlefield. This confrontation could offer a deeper look into their relationship, showcasing their clashing ideals and mutual respect in a way that enriches their shared legacy. Smer, previously believed to be out of commission due to severe injuries, may also return to the fray. His comeback, even in a weakened state, could shed light on the God Knights’ mysterious regenerative powers and hint that Conqueror’s Haki might be the key to overcoming them. This revelation could significantly influence battle strategies not just in the flashback, but potentially in the present-day storyline as well. Another intriguing theory suggests that more repeated Devil Fruits could emerge as the arc progresses. Following Captain John’s fruit reveal, fans suspect that characters like Barbell or other God Knights might wield familiar abilities, supporting the idea that Devil Fruits reincarnate after their users die. This cyclical nature of powers already exemplified by Ace inheriting the Flame-Flame Fruit adds a compelling layer to the series’ lore and could tie directly into the long-teased treasure chests at God Valley. Many expect those chests to finally be opened in Chapter 1162, possibly granting new powers to unexpected characters. A clash between Garling and Whitebeard is also one of the most highly anticipated possibilities. With Whitebeard no longer engaged in battle against Roger, Garling appears to be the most likely opponent. Such a fight would not only elevate Garling’s status as a major threat but also provide a deeper look into the God Knights’ true strength. Some fans even speculate that Garling’s striking resemblance to Shanks may hint at a deeper connection that could be explored through this confrontation. While the death of a God Knight seems inevitable, many believe it may still be too soon for such a development. Their regenerative powers make them difficult to kill, but the groundwork is being laid for at least one to fall before the arc concludes. This eventual loss could mark a turning point in the balance of power, signaling the decline of the once-unstoppable God Knights. Overall, the predictions for Chapter 1162 suggest a story that blends high-stakes action with emotional weight and deep world-building. Garling’s next move could reshape the conflict, Rocks and Aerys’ storyline may deliver a devastating emotional blow, and the long-awaited reveal of the Devil Fruit treasure chests could redefine the mechanics of power in One Piece. The God Valley flashback continues to answer long-standing mysteries while raising new questions about the series’ history and Chapter 1162 may be the chapter that changes everything.

Monkey D. Luffy - Egghead Arc

After they departed Wano Country, a beaten up Luffy was locked up in a cage by a furious Nami, who scolded him for his recklessness and carelessness in engaging in the Kid Pirates' and Heart Pirates' descent from Wano, which put the whole crew in danger while Luffy, in his competitive demeanor, did not realize the jeopardy of such a maneuver. Luffy was however, later freed from the cage after he apologized and then listened to Robin as she was reading the newspaper out loud to the crew. When she mentioned the news of the Levely events, in which Sabo was accused of murdering Cobra, Luffy remarked that Sabo would never do such a thing. When hearing upon Vivi gone missing during the Levely, Luffy suggested they would set out for Arabasta, but after being corrected by Zoro that Vivi was last seen in Mary Geoise so Luffy suggested that they head there instead, only to be once again shut down by Zoro who reminded him that they would walk straight into the enemies' dent. Luffy is then reminded of Ace once saying to him that Ace had his own adventures and that he would be trusted to handle himself until he would need help. Zoro then argued that they should have the same confidence in Vivi's, only to be taunted by Luffy, Nami, Chopper, and Sanji. Luffy was then asked by Robin if he wanted to hear more of the news but replied that he left it in her care and only to be alerted if something big happened. Luffy then laid down and told everyone about how his dream is so no one would have to give up their freedom and have it taken away like it happened to him as a kid. He then told everyone about the day Sabo, Ace and Luffy made an oath and told everybody what he told them, with the crew reacting with measures of surprise, disbelief and wonder and Usopp even telling him what Luffy wants is impossible despite his beliefs. Luffy then realized he never told anyone what he had told to Ace, Sabo and Shanks, but says that at the end of the dream that is what he wants.

Luffy in Final Saga

Days later, the crew was sailing close to a Winter Island when they encountered a gigantic Warm Eddy, with a person inside. Just as Zoro cuts the current, Chopper, who walked outside wearing his new amigasa, was swept away by the resulting wind and Luffy, who tried to save him, was swept away as well. In the process of being blown away, he also caught the person recently freed from the eddy, who turned out to be Jewelry Bonney. While still in the air, she warned the crew of the threat below, just in time for the Straw Hats to evade the jaws of the Mecha-Shark. Jinbe then jumped overboard to save the three Devil Fruit users, but the four were separated from the Thousand Sunny when the Mecha-Shark fired cannons at them. Jinbe then swam them to the nearest island, where they dried off, and Bonney introduced herself. She explained that they were on Dr. Vegapunk's island base, Egghead and that she came without her crew as she had personal business with the genius professor, stating that he had turned her father into a mindless cyborg, and that she wanted answers, or revenge.

IƱaki Godoy As Monkey D. Luffy
IƱaki Godoy is a Mexican actor. For Netflix, he is known for his role in the Mexican crime-drama soap series, Who Killed Sara?, in which he portrays Bruno. He also portrays Monkey D. Luffy in the upcoming adaptation of the manga series One Piece, and Juan Ruiz in the series The Imperfects.

The four then entered the island, where they were bedazzled by the futuristic sights of giant robots, aliens and parfaits, until they interacted with them and found out they were all holograms. When a large robot girl talked to them, Luffy punched her out of frustration thinking she was also a hologram, only to find out she was real when he was punched back into an Automatic Cooking Machine, which the pirates delightedly started playing with. The large girl introduced herself as Dr. Vegapunk and explained the various technologies such as the Cooking Machine and her Light-Pressure Gloves before leaving them to continue her job of violence. After eating their fill, Luffy found and damaged a Trancos, allowing the four of them to change clothes. However, soon after a Pacifista police attacked them for stealing the food and clothes, and when Luffy attempted to fight back, Bonney intervened, tearfully revealing that her father was none other than Bartholomew Kuma.Thankfully, the four managed to evade the cyborg detection with Bonney's ability, who turned Luffy and Chopper into elderly people while turning Jinbe and herself into children. As they hid in a junkyard, Jinbe recounted to the other three of what he knew about Kuma, such as how he was the king of Sorbet Kingdom, but was driven out due to his tyranny, became a pirate, joined the Revolutionary Army and was eventually captured, but was released by Vegapunk to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea on the condition he becomes the scientists guinea pig for experiments in cloning and body modification. However, as Bonney rummaged through the junkyard, and finding a beam saber in the process (much to Luffy's delight), she denied several of these claims, believing they forcefully experimented on him, and while revealing that her father is of a special race, restored the Straw Hats to their original age.

The four eventually stumbled upon an ancient-looking but highly advanced robot, which an excited Luffy, alongside Chopper, wanted to ride. However, they could not find a place to ride on it and thought that it was automatic, causing them to try and make it move. Suddenly, the machine let out a huge impact, which Luffy was shocked by, and a man appeared stuck in the machine, begging for help. Luffy went to the man and helped free him. The man, who turned out to be Vegapunk, thanked Luffy and recognized him as Dragon's son. He then showed Luffy and Chopper how to make their shoes fly, though they ended up flying too high in the process.
