Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War' Part 2 Release Dates And Trailer

VIZ Media has officially announced that the highly anticipated Part 2 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will make its return to the United States and select countries internationally on July 8. Last year marked the long-awaited comeback of the Bleach anime, which adapted the final arc of Tite Kubo's manga series.

In Part 1, viewers witnessed the formidable Yhwach, the father of all Quincies, declaring a merciless war against the Soul Reapers, vowing to annihilate Soul Society. During the initial onslaught, many Squad captains had their Bankai stolen from them, leaving them vulnerable. Notably, Ishida Uryu, depicted in the new poster as diverging from protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki's path, made the controversial decision to abandon his comrades and join Yhwach's Sternritter.

As we delve into Part 2, titled "The Separation," we will bear witness to the climactic resolution of the thousand-year-long conflict between the Soul Reapers and Quincies. Ichigo Kurosaki's life took an unexpected turn when he acquired the powers of a Soul Reaper through a fateful encounter. As a Substitute Soul Reaper, Ichigo found himself embroiled in the tumultuous affairs of the Soul Society, the realm where departed souls gather. Guided by the support of his friends, Ichigo conquered every challenge, growing stronger with each trial.

However, when a new group of Soul Reapers and a formidable new adversary emerge in his hometown of Karakura, Ichigo swiftly reenters the battlefield, wielding his Zanpakuto to aid those in need. Simultaneously, the Soul Society faces a puzzling phenomenon—there is a sudden increase in Hollows vanishing within the World of the Living. Reports also surface of missing residents in the Rukon District. And as if these developments weren't enough, the Seireitei, the home of the Soul Reapers, falls under attack from a mysterious faction known as the Wandenreich.

Led by Yhwach, the progenitor of all Quincies, the Wandenreich boldly declares war against the Soul Reapers, issuing a chilling proclamation: "In five days, the Soul Society shall be obliterated by the Wandenreich."

In the face of this imminent threat, the history and concealed truths guarded by the Soul Reapers for a millennium will finally be brought to light. As the final battle looms on the horizon, Ichigo Kurosaki prepares to confront his ultimate challenge.
